How The Test Works Once The Specimen Is Collected?

A simple blood draw, through the lower shoulder, is collected using our AgeCode Blood Collection Kit and returned to our CLIA-Certified Laboratory. 

• Laboratory Analysis: DNA Extraction: Isolated from white blood cells.
• Bisulfite Conversion: Enables identification of methylated vs. unmethylated cytosines across CpG sites.
• Methylation Array/Sequencing: We utilize Illumina arrays to measure methylation at specific genomic regions known to correlate with aging and healthspan traits.
• Bioinformatics & Medical Oversight: Raw data undergoes algorithmic scoring to generate Pace of Aging, Biological Age, and Systems Age metrics.
• Epigenetic scores are then layered with micronutrient efficiency scores and polygenic risk insights. All insights are reviewed under medical oversight to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
